Sure Cuts A Lot
Craft Edge are better than most in this respect, should you have registered the purchase with them then the website would have been able to provide the lost licence number quickly and effectively, there are MANY companies which will NOT do this and if you forget/ loose it you have lost it for good end of story. Activate 'Sure Cuts A Lot'. The easist method to activate is to simply choose Activate in the program and enter your Name and Serial Number as shown here in the Auto Activation Steps. If you get an error. After entering in your Name, Serial, and the Site Code, click the Generate Activation Code button to create your Activation Code.

I have used SCAL and ECAL for many years. I recently purchased a Scan N Cut DX and it comes with software but it's not nearly as useful. You need to convert SVGs to the FCM format to use on Brother machines. Without SCAL 5.0 it would be a tedious process. I am able to load my SVGs in SCAL, do all my changes and hit one button to convert to the new FCM format. Makes life so much easier. I have always loved SCAL!!!

I have been using scal for 10 years now and no other program will compare to this. I have tried using other programs and they are not as easy as a scal. Scal has many different functions and futures that makes this program so easy to use and to understand. I will never replace this program with any other one.

I love this software. It has made things so much easier for me. With Canvas I couldn't figure out how to separate or resize. I recommend watching the many videos on youtube.

Sure Cuts A Lot for Windows is a program that you can with Cricut Personal and Cricut Expression die cut machines to cut shapes and letters made with True Type fonts.
Sure Cuts A Lot for Windows has a stylish interface that features a self-healing mat as the background. We entered some sample text into the program and found that you can change the text size by clicking and dragging one of the corners of the bounding box, as you can with most page-layout and shape-drawing programs. Sure Cuts A Lot for Windows has some common shapes built into the menu, and a feature called 'Welding' allows users to create new shapes out of overlapping shapes. You can import SVG files, a handy feature for users who use other software to create graphics. You can save your files and you can activate your Cricut machine with the 'Cut' button through the program's menus. There is not a way to print or Export artwork created with Sure Cuts A Lot for Windows, but that might be asking for too much, since the program was designed to be used with Cricut machines.
Sure Cuts A Lot for Windows has a good Help file that includes instructions on how to use the program as well as how to hook up your Cricut machine to your computer. The program does leave a watermark on your artwork during the trial. For users who have Cricut Personal and Cricut Expression die cut machines, Sure Cuts A Lot for Windows is a useful tool.
