Ratings and Reviews for Schwartz Driver Training School

My son needed his in car training for drivers ed. They scheduled him right away and the trainings were pretty close together so he could complete and take his drivers test.

Very well. They were punctual and on schedule. The teachers did all that was expected. The car could have been a bit updated but my son had a great experience especially with timing and scheduling.

We used Schwartz Driver Training School.

It was all okay. There was nothing outstanding and nothing horrible. I chose to go with them because of their location. You're basically a number and you're no one. They really don't care. They have that mentality. The guy who did the drive time ended up for some reason going to Grove City just because of scheduling. He was an older man who was a blessing in our lives.

Student driving certifications so my daughter could take her driver's test.

Signing my daughter up was fine but their space in Westerville is very small and doesn't lend itself to a private environment. They were very good at working out my daughter's IN CARS as her temps were going to expire before she could get her InCars done. Again, they worked it out and all went according to plan. However, during one of the nightly class courses, my daughter said a she needed to use the restroom and a female instructor followed her and waited outside the door and when my daughter came out she asked what the lady was doing and she said making sure my daughter wasn't goofing off or using her cell phone! On two occassions I went to the office for something and they were supposed to be open and the door was locked and noone was there. I waited 45 mintues the 2nd time before I called the number on the door and someone did show up within 5 minutes. Also, there is some paperwork after the class that you have to have to take the driving test and it costs an additional $5.00 and they only accept cash for that certificate.

They provided drivers education for my grandson.

He started in September, and he just finished. It went fairly well. He attended all of his classes. For the driving part, they gave him tips on what to correct and what to work on. They concentrated on maneuverability very well. I think the drivers education prepared him fairly well. I think they did a fair job.

Drivers education has changed over the many years since I took it. For driving, it is best if the student has some experience and the school helps the student refine his/her skills. The school did a great job of doing this and pacing the driving lessons so that I could take my son driving to practice what he had learned.

Bill did a great job. After many attempts and failures at teaching my son to do the backing maneuver, Bill taught him how to do it in one lesson. He was also very patient and made my son feel relaxed and confident when driving.

My son has had 3 in car sessions and has gone through all of his classes with Schwartz.

We paid for 4 in car sessions. The 3rd one they didn't show up for, and when I called, they said he wasn't on the schedule. We had to reschedule that one and make ourselves available. They had always picked him up at home, so I left work to be home. Instead, they picked him up from school at 3 (the appointment was at 4) because someone else had cancelled. They showed up unannounced today for the 4th session, that I was not aware of. They left me a message and said I would have to pay for this session and would have to reschedule for weeks later. I have left several messages and can rarely get hold of anyone. Their office help is very difficult and unhelpful. The instructors in class and in car were excellent. I thought they were rather expensive. I would not use them again.

    Drivers education for our son.

He's gone through all the classroom training and one in car experience, and so far, it's been great. Scwartz is pretty bare bones, basic, and doesn't have all of the extras that seem unnecessary, so they're able to keep costs down. Good value, good service, and we're very pleased.

Needed a close driver's education school for my teenage son, in order for him to obtain a driver's license.

They were very willing to work with me and my schedule. Had several openings, and close to me. Facility wasn't that impressive, but they did a wonderful job educating my teenager to prepare him for the driving world. They gave him plenty of drive time, and held him up to the standards required by them, and the BMV. My son was able to pass the test with no problems, and has a license because of them. Very professional and nice to work with. And my 17 year old son liked attending the classes.

My son went through their driver training program. They were easy to contact and easy to schedule with. |I really appreciated them picking our son up at our home on the days he had in car training. Their office was conveniently located right off 270 in Westerville and was easy to get to for the in class training. My son indicated the classes were for the most part informative and kept his interest. Interestingly enough I went through their training myself back in 1982, I hate to admit that, and enjoyed their program as well. We did have 2 scheduling mix-ups that cost us 40.00 each, but they were not their fault. My son found the in car instructor very pleasant, respectful, and very helpful through the entire process. They might not have the fanciest location or cars, but I felt the value, professionalism, and results were Exceptional. Despite going through the program myself many years earlier, I did look at and compare many other companies and spoke to several other parents that had used them. I heard a lot more negative than positive about any of them, so I stuck with what I experienced myself and I'm very pleased that I did.
