DRIVER IRQL LESS OR NOT EQUAL.The BSOD is not going to offer you much of a help in fixing the errors that caused that. In accordance with it, Windows by default will reboot your computer seconds after showing you the BSOD. May 31, 2016  These crashes were Related to storahci.sys MS AHCI Storport Miniport Driver from Microsoft Corporation. Since this is part of the OS I would run a system file check to find the state of the OS Second you have a ton of old drivers that need to be updated.

Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

Hey everyone! I've been enjoying a nice and smooth Windows 10 experience for months until now. It seems I might be having some issues with one of my driver and I need help to fix it.

Basically while I was trying to convert a big video file into another format, my HDD would go from 20% use in the task manager to 100% suddenly and then I would get a BSOD with the following mention: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL storahci.sys

Apparently storahci.sys is a microsoft driver for disk, but I don't know the steps I need to take to fix it.

I've run a Windows Memory Diagnostic without any problems detected. I've scan the disk for errors and haven't detected any. I've ran sfc /verifyonly in the command prompt and didn't detect any problems.

Driver Irql Less Or Equal

Some people mentioned installing a different driver, however I'm not sure where/how to get a new driver and install it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update 1: I downloaded SeaTools to scan my Seagate hard drive and it detects some problems with the drive that it cannot fix. There is not much details however. Since then I started experiencing many other BSOD. Here are the ones I've been getting as well: DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION bdfwfpf.sys (seems to be related to my Bitdefender anti-virus) ATTEMPTED_EXECTUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION ntfs.sys DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION I downclocked my overclocked CPU and I also unplugged the defective drive, however I still experience the BSOD regularly. I really don't know what is going on at this point...
